My Hometown

Lamongan, it is famous town moreover since Bali bombing, but don’t worry because it’s over. Now, I am going to talk about some beautiful places in Lamongan, my hometown. Yeah, I come from Lamongan where I was born in, but I haven’t known well about Lamongan because since Junior High School I studied in the other town.

Before telling my hometown, I’m going to tell you about my home. My home isn’t located central town however in small place near Java Sea, only about 200 meters. The other word, I’m a beach person. From second floor of my home, I can see the wave of Java Sea and feel the cool wind. I also can see sunrise and sunset every day without going to Bali or other places.

10 kilometers from my home, exactly in Paciran, there is WBL (Wisata Bahari Lamongan) of Tanjung Kodok, tourism place, where we can study while having fun or some people call it, Jatim Park 2 (Jawa Timur Park 2). In the past it was Tanjung Kodok. “Kodok” is the Javanese language which in English is a frog. The place derives its name, Tanjung Kodok, from a stone formation, which resembles a frog (kodok). Tanjung Kodok has story which was resting place of Sunan Drajat and Sunan Sendang Duwur.

In front of WBL, there is Gua Maharani (Maharani Cave). Maharani consists of two words, maha and rani. Maha means “very” and rani means “colorful”. It causes if you enter on Maharani Cave, you will see the color of stalactite and stalagmite, very beautiful.

Beside those, there are still many tourism places in Lamongan, such as Waduk Gondang and the others. In Lamongan, we can also visit the grave of Sunan Drajat, one of walisongo and Sunan Maulana Ishak, father of Sunan Maulana Malik Ibrahim.

After talking about tourism places in Lamongan, unforgettable I am going to talk about typical foods of Lamongan.

I am going to tell you the most famous typical food of Lamongan, Soto Lamongan. The difference between Soto Lamongan and the other soto is that Soto Lamongan is the only soto using koya or some kind like garlic powder and consist of rice, an egg, soun noodle, soup, and chicken which is been steam with the spice before.

Not only Soto Lamongan but the other typical foods as well have to be tasted when coming to Lamongan such as tahu campur, tahu tek tek, wingko babat, jumbreg, es dawet and others. So, let’s go to Lamongan.

  3. See I have always dressed more of a tomboy all my life and i wanted a completely new wardrobe with tax money however, i don't want to wear something that will make me look like a freak or make me look bad. Any websites where I can go and look for this type of information?

  5. Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The is a much better choice in that case.

  17. How important do you think "website grader" is for ones search engine marketing marketing campaign? Is that some thing that you'd invest a great deal of time seeking to have a large score on??
